He was born a Thatcher's son, and became a squire. His knight died, and he faked being a knight, romanced a noblewoman, and showed honor, despite the lies he lived. He inspired a writer to pen his adventures, albeit in an admonished way. In the end, he was knighted by Prince Edward, the black Prince, and won his chance at happiness.
And then vanished from history altogether.
This is his story.
